”Journey to the New World”

Themes: One will make journeys on earth, to history, to outer space, to the future and into oneself.

Reila offers activities for every age group –on the sea and on the land. Scouts at the camp will make explorations to all corners of the earth and beyond.

Cub scouts (7-10 yrs) will spend four days at the camp (30.7-2.8.). They will learn new skills and make use of the skills already learned. All this is done by following the footprints of great adventurers. The annual competition in scout skills for cubs will also be held at the camp.

Once the cubscouts have gone home, it is time for the adventurers (10-12 yrs) to arrive for five days and experience the atmosphere of a big camp . This camp will feature the first competition in scout skills for adventurers.

Trackers (12-15 yrs), explorers (15-17 yrs) and rovers (18-22 yrs) will enjoy the atmosphere of the camp for the whole nine days. Trackers and explorers are given the opportunity to test their limits on a hike along the coast of Reila.

During the camp, the well-being and enjoyment of adults (over 22 yrs) will be assured by offering them opportunities for relaxation.

There will be 12 subcamps, each consisting of approx. 350 guides and scouts. Thus, the estimated number of people at the camp is 4000-4800. There will also be international guides and scouts at the camp. The cost of the camp for the individual will be kept as low as possible.
